Why is it free?

Tracking tells you where you stand, and on its own it changes nothing. One customer said it plainly: it means nothing if you do nothing with it. So we give the tracking away and charge for the work that changes the answer. Some people on the free plan later pay us to fix what it finds.

Free scores are common now, too. Cloudflare has given away a free agent readiness score since April 2026. We would rather earn our money on the fixes.

Questions about the free plan

What is the catch with the free plan?
There is no hidden charge. The free plan is thirty prompts on ChatGPT and Gemini, re-checked every two weeks, and Sophyx never asks for a card on it, so nothing can renew into a payment. We hope some free users later pay us to fix what the tracking finds. Plenty will not, and the free plan stays free for them.
Do I need a credit card for the free plan?
No. The free plan never asks for a card. The paid plans start with a 7-day free trial, and that trial does need a card. If you are asked for a card, you are looking at a paid plan.
Is the free plan a free trial?
