The article
One page that answers one question AI currently answers without you, written from your own business details.
Works in ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot and Gemini
When ChatGPT or Gemini answers a question without naming you, the fix is a page that answers it. You can write that page and put it live without leaving your AI assistant.
MCP is a standard way to connect an AI assistant like ChatGPT or Claude to another tool's data. With the Sophyx MCP connector on, your assistant picks the question, writes the page from your real business details, adds the schema (labels that help AI read the page), and puts it live on WordPress, Webflow, a Git repo, or as one HTML file you upload.
No credit card · the connector is included in every plan · about four minutes to set up
Yes, if you connect a publishing tool next to Sophyx. With a WordPress or Webflow connector, the assistant writes the post, adds the schema and saves it as a draft for you to approve. With a Git connector, it opens a pull request on your site's code. With neither, it gives you one complete HTML file to upload yourself. Sophyx supplies the data and the files: the article, the FAQ, the JSON-LD, llms.txt and robots.txt. One address connects it to any assistant: mcp.sophyx.app.
Drafts sit in a folder. The FAQ never gets its schema. The llms.txt file stays in a chat window for weeks. The work looks done, and AI answers keep naming someone else.
A page in a chat window does nothing for you in AI search. With the connector, your assistant reads your visibility data on one side and connects to your website on the other, so the page goes live from the same chat.
Six pieces, made together, so the page goes live complete.
One page that answers one question AI currently answers without you, written from your own business details.
Short questions and answers, labelled so machines know where each answer starts and ends. AI quotes this format most easily.
A hidden label that tells machines who you are and what the page is about. It is merged with any label already on the page, so there is only ever one.
A short text file at your site's root that tells AI tools what your business does and which pages matter.
The file that tells AI crawlers what they may read. If it blocks them, nothing else on this list gets read.
The same answer sized for social media, so you can share the page the day it goes live.
Pick the one that matches how your site is built. All three end with the page on your site, where AI can read it.
CMS
Add your CMS connector next to Sophyx. The assistant writes the post, adds the schema and saves it as a draft. You approve it in the CMS you already use.
One extra connector, then one sentence: “publish this as a draft.”
Code
If your site's code lives in Git, the assistant writes the page and the schema into a branch and opens a pull request. You review the change like any other.
Built your site in v0, Lovable or Cursor? This route fits it.
Hand-built
No CMS and no build step. You get one complete page, with styling, metadata, FAQ and JSON-LD inside, that you save and upload the way you already do.
Often the fastest of the three.
Most people get stuck on step 2. Read it before you start.
Server address
https://mcp.sophyx.app/
The same address works in ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft Copilot and Gemini. These steps are for ChatGPT, the only one that hides the option behind a switch.
Click your name (bottom left in the desktop app) or your avatar (top right on the web). The panel may be called Connectors, Apps & Connectors, or Plugins. They are the same panel.
It is the very last item. Do this first.
Until it is on, there is no add button anywhere, and searching Settings for “MCP” finds nothing. The option only appears after you switch this on.
Click Browse connectors, scroll to the top, and click the + button to the right of the search bar. Name it Sophyx, paste the server address, choose OAuth, tick the trust confirmation, and click Create.
Sign in, scroll to the bottom of the permission screen, and click Allow access. That window often opens behind the app, so check your taskbar if nothing happens. Then tick Sophyx in the + menu of the chat box, and you are connected.
Developer mode needs a paid ChatGPT plan. ChatGPT Free has no Connectors panel at all. Claude, Copilot and Gemini have no such switch: paste the address and approve.
Paste them into ChatGPT or Claude. They work as soon as your Sophyx workspace is connected.
Prompt 1: write the page
Using the Sophyx connector, take my highest-value visibility gap and write the
page that closes it.
Deliver one standalone HTML file:
- <title> and meta description filled in
- one <h1>, then <h2> sections, no skipped levels
- the gap question answered directly in the first paragraph, in full sentences
- a 6-question FAQ section in plain Q/A text
- FAQPage + WebPage JSON-LD in a <script type="application/ld+json"> block
- inline CSS only, no build step
- a call to action at the top and the bottom
Before you write: pull my brand knowledge graph and my existing content so the page sounds
like my business and does not repeat a page I already have.Comes back as one file you can save and upload, or push straight to your CMS if that connector is on.
Prompt 2: the three files at your site root
Using the Sophyx connector, get my generated llms.txt, robots.txt and the
per-page JSON-LD for my site.
Show me llms.txt and robots.txt as complete files I can save directly.
Then tell me, for each JSON-LD document, exactly which page it belongs on, and give me the
<script type="application/ld+json"> block to paste into that page's head.
Before you give me those blocks: check whether the page already has JSON-LD on it, and if it
does, merge rather than adding a second one.Keep the last instruction. Two schema blocks that disagree on one page are worse than none.
Prompt 3: upgrade a page you already have
Here is the HTML of one of my existing pages: [paste the file]
Using the Sophyx connector, check my visibility gaps and tell me which of them this page is
closest to already answering.
Then rewrite the page so it actually answers that question. Keep my layout and my voice, add
an FAQ section targeting the gap, and add or merge the FAQPage JSON-LD.
Show me a short summary of what you changed, then the complete updated file.An existing page often moves faster than a new one, because its address already has a history.
The prompts are free. They need a Sophyx workspace with tracked prompts behind them to return your pages.
Create your workspace freeIt will sound like whatever you approve. The connector gives the assistant your business details and existing content, so the facts are right. The voice is up to you. Read the draft and cut the padding. The customers who get the best results rewrite it once in their own words before publishing.
Yes, and it is the most common mistake in this workflow. If a page already has schema, a second block gives search engines and AI two different descriptions of the same business. Always ask the assistant to check for existing JSON-LD and merge it. That is why the prompt above includes that line.
How Sophyx builds the schemaAll of it is included in your plan.
Your visibility gaps ranked by real search demand, so you write the page that costs you the most.
Your business details, existing content and tracked prompts go in first, so the page does not repeat one you already have or describe someone else's business.
FAQPage schema, per-page JSON-LD, llms.txt and robots.txt, made in the same pass. These are the parts most people skip.
A CMS connector, a Git branch, or one file you upload. All three end with the page live.
Four to six weeks later, the same prompt runs again and you see whether the AI answer changed.
Plans start at USD 99 per month, and the first audit is free. See pricing.
Create a workspace and connect your assistant. Your first page can be live the same day. The workspace is what makes the prompts return your data instead of generic advice.
